Europe trip 2013

So we are off on our 2013 trip on Monday (12th August).

Itinerary as follows: (Flights on Standby so could all change…)

12th Leaving Christchurch to Auckland and on to Hong Kong.

15th Hong Kong to Milan.

Train to Venice

18th Venice-Milan-Dijon overnight

19th-24th milling around Burgundy in a rental car, checking out a couple of boats for sale.

24th-31st Canal boat from St Florentin to Vermenton.

31st Head to Paris

1st Paris-Abu Dhabi

2nd-6th Dubai

6th-7th Abu Dhabi-Sydney

8th Sydney-Christchurch.

Alan and I divide our time between our apartment in Christchurch, New Zealand, and our 11.5m Dutch Cruiser, Silver Fern, on the canals in France. We started out hiring and eventually bought our boat in 2014. The two summers lifestyle is wonderful and we feel very lucky!
